Undervisser

Undervisser is a rank in the Yeerk military.

It is a rank rarely used due to its nature. An Undervisser is a personal servant to a Visser and acts with that Visser's complete authority. That is, an Undervisser has as much power as his Visser, though he must defer to his Visser's commands. Because of the danger of sabotage inherent in giving an underling such power, most Vissers do not appoint Undervissers.
